Dumping the list of SCUs

SmartSDR> scu d

Dumping the list of SCUs shows:

  1. which SCUs are in use
  2. foundation receivers connected to each SCU
  3. preselector and anti-aliasing filter settings for each SCU

Change SCU Filter Settings

SmartSDR> scu filter <scu> <mode>
  • scu → the SCU that is to be adjusted ('A' for example)
  • mode → valid filter modes are 160, 80, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, 6, 2, bypass, hpf

For the bands listed, the preselector for this wavelength band will be enabled. Bypass removes all filters and HPF enables only the 1.8MHz high pass filter. Note that changing the filter settings changes values that are normally selected by the SmartSDR engine. This command should only be used for testing purposes and system performance is not guaranteed after the execution of this command. In normal operation, more than one filter may be selected by the SmartSDR Engine.

Enable or Disable Loop

 SmartSDR> scu loop <scu> <on|off>
  • scu → the SCU that is to be adjusted ('A' for example)
  • on|off → 'on' or 'off' to enable or disable the loop function

Enables or disables the loop function for the SCU. When the loop is enabled, the antenna in use is fed through the RX A or RX B LOOP BNC connectors on the rear of the radio. This allows for the insertion of a filter or preamp.

Enable or Disable Preamps

 SmartSDR> scu pre <scu> <function>
  • scu → the SCU that is to be adjusted ('A' for example)
  • function → the preamp function selected from the table below:
function value preamp 1 state preamp 2 state
'0' or 'o' off off
'1' on off
'2' off on
'3' or 'b' on on
